Star Lake is located in Seguin township, south of Orrville and is included in a chain of small lakes which are part of the Seguin River drainage system. Sandwiched between Mutton Lake to the north and Turtle Lake to the south, Star Lake has a unique, irregular shape with a 9.9 km. perimeter of picturesque shores consisting of beautiful sandy beaches, shallow bays, high rocky outcrops including several large points and natural rubble shorelines blanketed by majestic untouched forestry. The lake’s clear pristine waters that reach depths of 60 ft., finish off the perfect setting to enjoy fishing, water sports, a leisurely boat ride around the perimeter to take in the spectacular views or simply sitting on your dock to watch the sun rise and set, the loons dive and resurface or the ducks guiding their chicks around the shoreline as they feed.
